Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how InvestPHL ("we," "InvestPHL") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the InvestPHL website and services (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

• Account & profile: email, password (stored securely by our auth provider), and the name, company, phone, role, and target markets you provide.
• Usage & activity: the parcels you view, save, underwrite, and search, and similar in-app events, to power features and analytics.
• Technical: device/browser information, IP address, and cookies/local storage for sessions and preferences.
• Payment: if/when paid plans launch, payments are processed by a third-party processor (e.g., Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.

2. How we use it

• Provide, personalize, and improve the Service (e.g., tailoring opportunities and matching deals to your stated interests).
• Operate accounts, authenticate you, and provide support.
• Understand aggregate demand and product usage.
• Communicate service updates and, where permitted, relevant offers (you can opt out of marketing).
• Maintain security and comply with law.

3. Service providers

We use third parties to run the Service, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, analytics), map/data providers such as the City of Philadelphia open-data (CARTO) and rental-data providers, and — for paid plans — a payment processor. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: with the service providers above; to comply with law or protect rights and safety; or in connection with a business transfer. Aggregated or de-identified data (which does not identify you) may be used for analytics and product development.

5. Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (like saved parcels and assumptions), and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data retention

We retain your information while your account is active and as needed for legitimate business and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data (see Contact).

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your choices & rights

You can review and update your profile in the app, opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link, and request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law.

9. Children

The Service is for business users and not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
